It is brilliant! It really feels like showering in a warm rain strom and my 15L of water lasts much longer. No doubt the tiny jets will need more regular cleaning given I usually shower in dam water but, as the shower head may be disassembled, that is a small price to pay.

Mike,
Any idea how many litres per minute on full? No details on the eBay sellers site.
Regards,
Ian

On it's "rain" setting I guess around 3L/minute, with my 12V pump.
I find that with my 15L bucket of shower water I tend to get a little bored before it runs out.

Warning... Mike, Clicking onto your Link for the Shower head , "AVAST my virus checker came up with a Virus warning as soon as I saw a picture of the shower head and asked to do a Virus scan.
The problem was URL: Blacklist, if I read it correctly.

It just links to another Grey Nomads thread. No issue that I can see.

Your virus checker is showing a false positive Peter.
My link points to another GN thread in which Mein posted a link to a shower head on eBay, all is good :)

You're welcome!
"No doubt the tiny jets will need more regular cleaning"
I clean mine with a toothbrush, roughly once a month.
And, after 18 months use, the switch that toggles between spray modes became quite stiff so I bought a new head.

One way of avoiding cleaning the microjets often is to use common steel wool (flat square type), curled up and rammed into the shower handle that acts as a filter.
Once a year replace the wool and backwash the shower head.
I have an instant hot water unit and the back pressure helps even out the heated water flow.
Full cold water pressure flow is just under 4 litres minute compared to 9 litres for a standard shower rose. A great water saver.

I hope that you don't use your own toothbrush.

I bought one of these Ebay shower heads, and unsurprisingly it doesn't fit my shower head bracket. I'm going to have to source an alternative bracket. Any chance of a pic of your bracket?
Funny thing about a shower head for camping is not the type you would use at home ? But the cheapest to a point as in smallest works best . The little pump and pipes in van are not even half the size at home ! Plus you go through too much water !! I like the type with tap on head . So can be turned off after getting wet then lather up with body wash or soap . The finer the jets the better too !! Then the cheaper plastic is best . Lightweight and is not a projectile, damaging things if it falls etc .
Thank you Mein for your excellent suggestion of this shower head:
Ebay $15 shower head
