Sooty Oystercatcher, near Bermagui Sth Coast NSW.
Cape Barren Goose portrait, Phillip Island VIC.
Red-capped Plover, Western Port Bay, VIC.
Australasian Grebe, Chiltern, NE VIC.
Eastern Reef Egret (grey morph) near Narooma, Sth Coast NSW.
Eastern Reef Egret (white morph), Casuarina Coastal Reserve, Darwin NT. Same bird as above, white up North, grey down South.
Australian Shelduck, The Briars Historic Park VIC.
Brolga portrait, Serendip VIC.
Kelp Gull, Gunnamatta Ocean Beach VIC. These birds introduced themselves from overseas where they are known as Dominican Gulls. A common sound track to British TV shows like Doc Martin.
Darter, Lake Benanee NSW. Also known as Snake Bird because of the long neck.
Caspian Tern, Murray River mouth, The Coorong SA. A worldwide species & the largest Tern in the world.
Great Egret portrait, Howard Springs NT.
Magpie Goose, Yorkey's Knob FN QLD.
Crested Tern flight, Milang SA.
Pied Oystercatcher, Boydtown Beach, Sth Coast NSW.
Australian Pelican flight, Wakool River Kyalite NSW. Currently in flood.
Australian Gannet, Port Phillip Heads VIC. These diving birds have blue goggles around their eyes which close before hitting the water. Many young birds are found washed up on beaches with broken necks.
Yellow-billed Spoonbill, Lara Station Outback QLD.
Hooded Plover, Waitpinga Ocean Beach SA. These birds are endangered.

The Red-necked Avocet, Darling River, Wilcannia NSW - Never have I seen one, yet born and bred in Western NSW.

Taken on the lake beside the river on Warrawong On The Darling station just outside of town.
There would be thousands of Avocets currently at Menindee Lakes now that they are full of water.
Here's a map of where they occur. The darker the blue, the more of them there are.

Tip Turkeys are high on my " dont love list", drink the acid from the recycle battery station at our tip, then drop it from on high, car roof, concrete, even the lawn cops the s... .
