It is a good idea to "power cycle" (ie. turn off, wait two minutes, turn on) your mobile phone, tablet, notebook computer etc every so often, I usually do mine about once a month.
All these computer type items *will* have bugs in their software and these bugs may, over time, lead to issues arising which may produce very subtle problems. Power cycling will give the software a clean slate to work with.
NB. Do not use a "Reboot" command on the phone/computer but actually turn the power off/on.

My phone reminds me that I haven't turned it off for a month.
Also set the battery maximum charge to 80% as recommended by the phone for longer battery life.

I turn my iPhone and iPad off a few times a week and it does seem to clean it up so to speak.
My devices go on charge overnight and the IOS selects a charge program that charges to 80% then the charge is slowed down for the last 20% .
The phone and pad is then ready to go at approx 5.30 to 6.00 am each day. I very rarely use the battery in the one day period.
It is called optimising the battery charging or something similar.
