According to a newsletter I get from a (kind of) health service, the Top 5 New Year's resolutions are:-
1. Improve one's general health
2. Finally do something about a health problem that has existed for some time
3. Lose weight
4. Quit smoking
5. Reduce or eliminate matters that are causing mental stress

Never made a New Year's Resolution, never will - they are a good way of setting yourself up to fail and thus confirming to yourself you can't do whatever it was.
If you *really* want to do something (eg. stop smoking) then you'll do it when you're ready, you don't need to wait for 1st January.

Same here.
If you need to do whatever, start this minute.

I'm not a resolution type of person but for the 10 years prior to the pandemic we spent a total of 6 months away camping in the bush every year. This year we spent 3 months away, I'd love to build that figure back up to 5-6 months in 2023. That's if we can find somewhere interesting out there that hasn't been flooded, burnt out or doesn't have a mosquito plague.
