I was sitting here in my current camp thinking. Yep, that was that noise you heard.
At this time of the day on the first day of a new year I and many others would be lined up at the entrance to GreenS Lake. Myself and a couple of others would have been there since 6.00am after leaving our hiding spot after the mass exodus a few days earlier, due to a couple of locals causing drama a few years ago. Finally, the barricades etc would be removed and the mad dash to get your favourite spot back was on.
Phew! Got it! Now for memory and friend making moments. Oops, forgot those happy hours. How could I forget those. After all, they never went for an hour anyway. Try 4-5 hours or even longer.
Yep, "thanks for the memories".
Keep Safe out there all.

The lake is back full again Doug, so the memories just continue.
Some of the regulars will be back there this Summer.

Hope to be there, sometime in February, and catch up with some old friends again
Yes, Greens Lake, has some good memories
It is a destination worth aiming for, in my opinion

G'day Tony, hope you are both well.
Let me know when you are going to be there and if I can fit a visit into my very heavy social calendar I'll slip across for a chat.
Travel safe my friend.
