Blende Street, to the right of the dump point. (Wikicamps) "easy access"

Blende St -ensure you have means to attach hose to plain taps - they're not threaded spigots. also need large cable ties to hold tap open.

I filled up with water (Blend St) in February this year
It is a small park, just about opposite the tourist info place
On one side of the park is a dump point, with a hose to clean up etc
About 4 metres away, is a normal threaded tap, with a sign saying drinking or potable water, at this tap

We stayed at that CP overnight in late January 2014. Arrived early afternoon, yes the weather was hot. A caravaner tenant who was living a longer term, while her husband worked at a mine, said that it took a day for their van to cool with the air conditioner running constantly.
The swimming pool while not cool was very comfortable to quench hot travellers. The water in the ammenities block came luke warm from the cold taps and showers. It never felt like it was going to run cool.
The Musician's Club in the CBD in the street, near the railway used to do great Counter Meals. Haven't been there for awhile though, unfortunately.

You can buy the universal 4 way key from any large hardware store. I have 3 on them at hand.

If you have ever used a toilet in Dubai airport, your backside feels like it it is been radiated from the cold water of +50°C in the bowl. An "interesting" experience if never happened before!
