I threw my SAt etc away donk's ago. 99% of tv is absolute crap. Then some.
I use Wi'Fi and movies I copy onto a 4 Terra HDD. Whenever in range of signal.

I installed a auto dish on our van and it is an Altec UEC 80cm Dish. It works well but one has to put it down when there are winds in excess of 30kph. Just for safety.
It is a simple one lead unit that when turned on raises then searches for a signal which if one has moved some 300k or so since last raised may take up to 5 minutes to tune in. It has surprised us on some occasions finding a signal when there is trees or something blocking it and we thought no go but it was ok. There is a smaller version of 60cm which is good for eastern Australia and iffy in far nth or west. Go to SAT PLUS web side and have a read.
However as said previously free to air tv has deteriorated to plain bad .
