Interesting that when I type a post with my mobile it won't make paragraphs. Then I went to my desktop and edited it into paragraphs and it worked.
I'm typing from my mobile now.

When I need to delete a few words, or more. If the text is deleted to the line of text above, the first letter always disappears for every line of text I go up to remove.
Never experience this anywhere else.

In simple terms, the software (program) used for the application behaves differently
in different environments. Another example is the fact that my 'older' Mac now
excludes me from some websites. An upgrade has happened which results in our Mac
no longer able to communicate with this/these website until I perform an upgrade to
the operating system on our unit. Impossible as the hardware has reached its limits.
As a side issue, current chit chat is that a PC, Windows or Apple base has a use by date
of about 7 years. What this means to the simpletons like me is that after 7 years my
computer will no longer be able to communicate with certain websites as 'they' have
upgraded to a level which make my unit no longer compatible.
A bit like when the mobile phone companies decide to no longer support 2G or 3G.
you have no choice but to get a 'new' phone.
Eaglemax, your mobile is either Apple or Android based. Your desktop is either a
Windows or Apple (Mac) based. Each looks the same but quite different in execution.
Some applications become borderline compatible and this manifests itself in the
oddities that you find.
There was a time when computer programming was a lot simpler (80s' and 90's).
Nowdays users expect everything to work on everything.
In the late 90s as the internet gathered momentum as well as PCs, the biggest demand
from users was to have the ability to run mainframe applications on PCs.
ATMs, Point of Sale devices etc.
These are all a PC in different form but at the core that is what they are.

Thanks Brodie. Years spent writing reports for executive and high level management.
Shame that at times my knowledge is easily dismissed.
