Among the 40, was a photo of Sydney Harbour. When I saw it my most immediate thought that struck me was, I wish I had been around before all the construction. It made me sad.

I had a look at the photos and I've seen a fair few of those places over many years. Not always from those angles and not every nook and cranny of them but been there. We have been blessed to have seen a lot of this country of ours. Cheers to all.
My avatar is not the stairway to the moon, though I have seen it, but is a sunrise in Seaforth, near Mackay Qld.

G'day Mel,
The only problem with that is, you might not be around today. Nice pics though. Like others, I have seen many of those but not all.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Good selection of places to see - I s'pose that I'm lucky that I have seen them all in person.
With regard to Sydney Harbour; There are few sights more beautiful than the Harbour on a Sunday afternoon, the eighteen footers skidding along with full spinnakers, particularly if you are flying low coming home from an overseas business trip.

Even as a parochial Queenslander, I have got to agree about the beauty of the Sydney harbour particularly from the Air with the clumps of yachts scooting about the place (Nautical terms ... LOL)
I could even go as far as to mention how great the Northern beaches are. I could live there. We just never tire of returning time & time again to the lakeside sites at Narrabeen Lakes CP.
We too, are fortunate to have seen many of the fantastic places. Just wish I was more skilled in photography & had access to a drone way back in the day.
Thanks for posting. I have saved the link to pass on to others.
