So this happened. We decided to stop at a friends place in Currumbin Valley at the back of the gold coast, they have a beautiful piece of Australia. The drive way is long, up hill and we just fit with the ability to park and turn at the top but its tight. We had spent a lovely first night with them and as we...

We'd just like to say how efficient emergency services are on that number. Yesterday we were using up some time before booking into a CP in Bright VIC at 2pm. After doing some shopping in Myrtleford we parked our rig beside the Ovens River in a small park on the edge of town. There was no-one there except f...

So one of the big things that I've been researching before I start my road-trip is insurance. I've searched through previous posts on this topic and see that there are very few that refer specifically to campervans. And even more specifically to campervans that have NOT been fitted out by a professio...

Gday gang One day we (SWMBO) and I will need to settle down and stop moving. We want to settle in SA ideally close to the sea. We have looked at Port Lincoln (North Shields) and Kadina, both excellent. Just wondering if anyone has any other places in mind. Thanks in advance, be safe Phil C

So I am a pre grey nomad in training and have found even though the "man of the van" purchased nice new blue hose for water we get a vile plastic or rubber taste the kids refuse to drink it. Have we made a mistake with our hose or do I need to run them more? The van has been out 5-6 times now & it doesn't matter...

But don't quote me. The Cooker is selling at $49 with a free pot. I have no idea if this is a good buy or not. This is a link to the...

Getting back to that DD thing, I come in here for fun and entertainment and that's my choice. If DD comes in here for hard work that's his choice I suppose. Sorry Cindy but I was a late starter.

Hi All We are currently at Ulladulla and looking at an easier drive back to Melbourne on the Hume rather than back along the Princes Hwy.
