I've been thinking of doing the Big Lap but after reading a lot of forums and wiki camp comments , it seems to me that Caravan Parks are running Australian Towns ?? I would like to 50/50 pay and free camp but not where Caravan Park owners tell me to. Is this true.??????

Hi Nomad Helpers, I have just bought myself a Diesel Heater , after a few coolish nights out there, and I would like to know if somebody could recommend somebody to fit one of these for me. I live in the Tweed Gold Coast area. I would be willing to travel to Brisbane or South to Ballina if they can recomme...

Can anyone advise me how to fix it? It's mostly just the first little bit of pushing that's hard and I have a gadget to use...

Heading off again this week for almost 3 weeks. Not sure where exactly - don't care. Probably north of Adelaide, Flinders Ranges perhaps? This week I fitted an inlet silencer for the Diesel heater. Not that it was really noisy but should be quieter now for any neighbours that want to park too close. I p...

Local businesses in Bingara are trying to see how much money campers are bringing into town. In most shops, there is a box to put you receipts in (not petrol though) if you are camping. Rather a clever idea we thought. Interesting to see the final outcome. There is one paid park and many freebies along th...
