hi everyone :) Has anyone recently headed from Perth to Uluru via Kalgoorlie, Laverton and Warburton . They say the roads are really good now . Bitumen to Laverton and then dirt track the rest of they way . Any info or feed back would be really appreciated .. Thanks Cal

Has anyone on here done any gold detecting? Is so, where (what region) and also what sort of detector do I need, preferably lightweight. I am going to go looking and hope for a large nugget lol. Maybe Victoria or South Australia. Only need an ounce a week!! I'm dreaming again.

I have a 2005 Nissan X trail and I want to tow a 15' full size van max 1400kg. I have been told not to use a weight distribution hitch (wdh). Has anybody towed a small van without a wdh As I have always used a wdh when towing and I feel uneasy not using one. Cheers Sommer

We moved to camp area behind Bucca Pub on Sunday. Very large grassy area to park on. $5 -pp/pn. $2.50/hot shower. Hamburgers from pub - large & very tasty. Best thing is just down in front of the pub is a picnic area with swimming hole & clear running water. Scenic spot. Meals available at...

When I built my van I used 6mm ply for the base. Mattresses sit on top of the ply. Now the ply us damp, where we lie. We have one 50mm and one 100mm mattress per single bed. Should we have used slats so the us say 20mm gap every 100 mm or so allowing air circulation? Any easy remedy? We are planning buildi...

I did a search but the reports were a little dated. Hope to be in Broome in a coupla weeks. Recommendations on caravan parks in Broome. We will probably stay a week, maybe leave the van overnight to visit some outlying places.
