Eucla telegraph station. WA & SA
(Preview)
I have crossed the Nullabor Plain many times over the last 40 plus years. At least a dozen times I have stopped to have a look at the Eucla Telegraph Station. Like many travellers, I have stood there only to see a chimney sticking out of the sand on the last remaining building. "THE" DICK SMITH...

Another Tip
(Preview)
We have a Sky Light in between our 2 single beds, and in summer that early morning sun light is Dazzling at 5 and 6 am. So I made up a quick solution which takes only a second or 2 to give us our darkness. A piece of cardboard with 4 bits Velcro and I leave it on my pillow so I don't forget to put it in place.

Looking at the current crop of popular utilities being used as tugs for towing caravans, why do they all have a ''pretend chrome roll bar''? Roll bars originated in the USA to protect passengers in the event of a roll over. The bars that are fitted these days are not much thicker than a beer can & are p...
