The toilet in our van has stopped flushing, I have gone over every thing but can't seem to find a fault! Suspect the pump has gone - are there any replacment pumps available? Or any sugestions on what to do further. I have done the fuse check and am also getting power to the pump but no pumping.

I've recently purchased a used 23ft dual-axle caravan for $38K from a long established dealer in the east of Perth. The good news is that I had it inspected prior to purchase and it received an A1 rating, with nothing requiring attention. However, to say the dealer was rubbish is an understatement! He...

I know this is probably one of those oft asked questions but I thought it worth asking again as these things often change . So the big fiscal question is " is Wikicamps worth the whole $8 they want for it" ? Cheers Al -- Edited by Swoffer on Thursday 12th of November 2015 11:01:47 AM

My sullage hose has for the first time after many years gotten really stinky, and I mean STINKY!. It is one of the black ribbed types. Hot water and some cleaners down the sink haven't really helped. It sat in rolled up in the boot for a week, and now the boot pongs too. soapy water and glen 20 made only a smal...

Does anyone know if there is a company in Perth that rents out vehicles with towbars to tow 1800kg van short distances around Perth? I know there are a few rental Utes around with towbars, but not sure if they are for anything more than a box trailer. Thank you, John K

I am sure that like me you have noticed the enormous amount of advertising that the car industry is throwing at us re price and their extended warranties. Back in 2000 a new Nissan Pulsar was $19990. Today similar or perhaps even better vehicles are selling for around the same price. One can only hope th...

Hi, well, its been a long time since being here, but I am finally getting my Hino RH160. Picking it up in Adelaide and driving to the Gold Coast. My question is, what is the best and quickest route, as I am time limited for the present. I will be driving alone, so will need rest breaks. Also, have never drive...

I tried to list this in the "techies" corner, but could not get in, I expect (???????) sorry. I am wanting to remove the existing water tank from under my van, clean it and re-fit it along with a second tank. Being on the "Nomad" side 0f 60+, and not as agile as I once was, I am hoping t...

There is another park going through its death knell. There is an announcement in the local rag - Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate that Dunleith is up for grabs. Knowing out local council (liberal party run) the site will end up with an overbearing edifice on the site.

If this is a dumb question, or in the wrong section I apologise. I was thinking about using my Laptop on the car battery.
