Took our caravan out for our first short weekend away just to set up and try it out. We had trouble getting the thing hitched and un-hitched because the jockey wheel was too hard to wind up high enough and get the van on & off the tow ball. We have a slightly tall Maverick So along comes Ol' Mate next to us...

Anyone been there recently? We are contemplating a move within the region (sitting at Tin Can Bay for 12 months - beautiful). Only info I found through a search of the forum was a few years old. We know they charge extra for dogs, and are fine with that. Thanks in advance :)

It was 5th January 1992, my birthday. Our van was parked on the hill at the camp on the Great Fingal mine site at Day Dawn ( 7 Kms south of Cue). At about 2-30 pm with a can of beer in my hand I stepped out of the annex and was greeted by a rather scary site. The entire southern sky from east to west was a monstrou...

G'day. Friends decided to move their caravan out of the local caravan park. They were just week to week renters, but had been there for 12 months.
