We are leaving Port Augusta soon to head up the Centre, and it was suggested to us that the showgrounds in the Alice are a good place to stay. Can anyone vouch for this?

we are in Winton at the moment going onto Cloncurry sometime soon. Not sure if we should be waiting for these strong winds to disappear before heading off. I think they would be behind us pushing us on but is it safe to travel with a van in such winds. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The Karratha shire and state government have ruled that in the Karratha and Roebourne shires that the maximum stay @ places like Cleavaville will be 28 days only, so the GN'S that used to stay 3-4 months be aware before you plan your trip, cheers.
