Hi All. Have looked at all the previous posts on this topic, BUT no-one has actually listed where the checkpoints are (other than for WA/SA). We don't want to try to smuggle prohibited goods through, but what we did coming from WA into SA is we gave all the prohibited stuff to people going into WA - rathe...

We have been on the road for over four weeks and have met only one GN (who didn't really count but I'll elaborate soon). We have seen no stickers. What a pity. There are so many people on the road and my guess is that many are using the great information from this forum too. The one GN that we did meet was over...

But cleaning the shower and toilet , what is the best way to keep this nice and clean. Didn't w...

Any one got CURRENT info on Ranger caravans. I know that the company was deregistered a few years ago and have read a heap of stuff online. I found a couple with single beds - would like to do a swap but just not sure if the company is ok now. The one I saw was a 2011 model so I assume they are up and running again...

Last night it rained gently all night here - this is an arid desert with an interesting water supply history. Up until 1922, opal miners had to cart in their own water, then the Govt built an underground storage tank to hold 2 million litres of water - unfortunately it didn't rain enough to fill up. In 196...

We don't usually travel at Easter time (nor school holidays) but this year we are. Since being in Vic we realised pretty quickly that waterways, lakes etc are NOT the places to be for Easter. Any suggestions for a quiet spot - not too dear - for the Easter break?
