WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR MH OR CARAVAN ?
(Preview)
How often have you said I wish I had this or that in my MH or Caravan ? I really need a diesel heater, or I wish I had a reversing camera, or that I'd put an extra power point somewhere. What is it you would most like to add to your existing MH or Caravan ? If we can get a few people to post, maybe we can all get a few id...

Croydon council run caravan park
(Preview)
Just an update for you as it appears everyone thinks they have free washing machines. This is not correct as council have removed and replaced with coin operated. Apparently there was too much abuse of the system with people stopping just to wash all their sheets and sundry . Let's face it, for $15 a n...

Hi all, I'm looking at buying a Mercedes Sprinter motorhome with shower and toilet so I can be completely self-sufficient and free camp. However, having looked around quite a bit, I feel now more confused than ever. If anyone can help with these questions, I'd be delighted. 1. Some tell me I need so...

Dogs in Caravan Parks
(Preview)
Trying to travel along the coast of Queensland and have found it hard to stay in nice pet friendly parks. Golden Beach Caloundra is the outstanding exception. Friendly to humans and dogs. Wanted to stay on Stradbroke Island - No go. Unless we have a 4 wheel drive (we haven't) to get to beach camping. W...

Caravan sway
(

(Preview)
I see that today's GN story is about two accidents over the long weekend involving caravans and sway. Such incidents occur far too often. By the same token, a lot of GNs on the forum have been towing a rig for many years and many thousands of kilometres without incident, so what's their secret?

Caravaners doing the wrong thing
(Preview)
We wonder why we as a group are not wanted in some areas. This sort of thing gives us all a bad name. ...and then there is the grey water. There is a large parking area just outside the car park where they could have parked and let the grey water run out onto grass.
