People who stuff up free camps
(Preview)
We free camped north of Alice Springs a few nights ago. Near the camp site were cattle yards on private property. Some people who were camped their just had to get through the fence for a "stick beak". These are the people who get councils offside with free campers.

Observations from our trip about.
(Preview)
We've just come back from a few weeks trundling about S.E.Qld. Just a few observations. At Leyburn, a huge, quiet area. A big-arse bus & trailer decked out in Harley Davidson colours pulled up within 10 meters of a 'van. Then fired up a generator. 'Van moved to another spot. Genny was on & off al...

Camp Fires
(Preview)
Been a lot said about Gennie etiquette and caravan space manners and such. Just thought I would throw out for thoughts on Camp Fire etiquette. Me I love a campfire but since we stopped lighting one I have noticed all kinds of attitudes. What do you think?

Motorised jockey wheel

So excited, have to share. Yesterday purchased a motorised jockey wheel that was actually advertised across the top of this site. What a relief! We have a long drive, with a narrow gate. I used to stand with the walkie talkie and guide Stuart through. Today, no problem. Moved our 2500 kg van with ease an...
