Thinking of getting a UHF radio. Don't really want to attach anything to the inside of ute. Has anyone used the handheld UHF? Are they any good? Would we need an aerial mounted on the car or is the in build aerial sufficient?

Having a 2 kva inverter generator changing the oil by tipping it over a pan is a real pain I have purchesed one of these from Super cheap and can do a oil change without laying the genny over and change the oil in like 5 mins flat.
