Mail Redirection
(Preview)
We are about to head off around Aus. on permanent basis, and would love to hear of any other nomads experiences with mail redirection. We have a permanent Post Office Box in Victoria, but when you're on the move all the time, I imagine it is going to be a little confusing for the Post Office to redirect.

Deepwater NSW (the common)
(Preview)
Found a great free camp site not listed in Camps7, this one is worth a stop if in the vicinity. If coming from the south turn right onto Bezzants road and follow a few hundred metre's, pass under railway bridge, it is on crown land, I believe there is no time limit.

The Fun begins with PANIC.
(Preview)
On Thursday the long awaited day arrived, after three years of planning we were scheduled to pick up the van. Now living in a town house means that we do not have anywhere to park or store the van, so we had arranged to park the van outside a friends house overnight, before we headed off on Friday morning fo...

Every Easter Jen and I stay at a Caravan Park not far (approx 350 is) from home. We've stayed at the same park for the last 7 years. When we leave we rebook for the next Easter. We arrived yesterday, go into the office, give our name and we get told that someone is in our site because they liked it so much they'...

Broome Caravan Park Numbers Down
(Preview)
On TV today, the manager of Cable Beach Caravan Park was saying that this year both the off season and on season numbers of people staying at their park and others in Broome were down. A Caravan Industry spokesman said this was because more people were having cheap holidays overseas.

One small step... or a giant leap?
(Preview)
Well, after about 18 months of pondering and planning, re-planning and re-pondering, I've taken the first step to nomadhood with the purchase of a 1990 Hino Rainbow. Now the fun bit starts with deciding on the layout, power, solar, water, etc with the aim of being ready to hit the road towards the end o...

Gday... There is no better way of life in the world than that of the Australian. I firmly believe this. The grumbling, growling, cursing, profane, laughing, beer drinking, abusive, loyal-to-his-mates Australian is one of the few free men left on this earth. He fears no one, crawls to no one, bludges...

Looking at this post, it has updated by one so does that mean you only it is...
