There have been a few family's issues that we don't want to go into as yet but we will now be on the road for Xmas and new year. We don't really want to spend the time on our own, I know a few will be at greens but it looks like we will be somewhere to the west of Adelaide. Will anyone else be in the area or have any su...

I only saw a fleeting glimpse of the story re a wanted fugitive that has been taken into custody, however was it the Greens turnoff sign shown as his whereabouts? Can anyone add detail to this news item. Hoo Roo.

We are in W.A and our son has a viscount regent ultra lite pop top van. Sadly thru winter some moisture got into top of van. Anyone know of someone who may have a trashed body but reasonable top that we could replace....or where we could go to have repaired. thanks

I've lived in many places in my time but outside of where I was born and raised, there was only one that really felt like home. So I'm wondering if any GNs who've been on the road for a few years ever get to feel that way about their rig - that "no place like home" feeling.

Yep after a battle getting through gale force winds, heavy rain and car park like traffic in Melbourne City the Tug and Avan have made it home. I arrived at Greens Lake to join in all the fun and games. The welcoming committee was out in force too when I arrive I might add. I'd like to think it was to welcome m...

It rained for most of yesterday, here at Greens Lake, and the day has started with rain again today!!! Very sad - but hopefully it will disappear by the end of the day. Still quite a few camped up here, so don't stay away because of a bit of rain - as the farmers say - we love it!!!!!!

On the way through to Greens Lake, Central Vic. yesterday. It was great to catch up with them again after many months. I noticed a story in the GN mag about peak holiday seasons and crowded camp sites and caravan parks. So how do full-time travellers solve that little problem? Where do you hide from the families and schoolies during peak times as well as the exorbitant fees?

Hi all, we were within a couple of day away from getting a new 5th wheeler but have been thrown a curve ball. We have been told that because the door & awning is on the right hand side of the rv it is illegal in Aus., & that also a lot of Van parks will not allow these configurations in their parks. I s...

Been keeping an eye out for a new van, - bigger fridge, more storage, full solar set up, maybe a full van this time. Found one with all of the above, plus full ensuite, air con etc. Beautiful van .... but..... the beds are in the front, and the door is right at the end of the bed.
