Unfortunately due to health reasons we are looking to give up life on the road, leaving our gorgeous van for a permanent site. Does anyone know of a lovely relocatable home within 300km north or north west of the Central Coast NSW? Sad but we have to sell our van and probably the tow vehicle too. Would app...

We will be travelling from Renmark to Peterborough (S.A.) and planned to use the Goyder Highway, but the young lady on the GPS insists on sending us via Adelaide, which is about 150km extra distance. When I eventually persuaded her to go via the Goyder the travel time blew out to about 5 hours for a 280km...

We made a decision to do a three day stopover in Moree after travelIng for about 5 days in high 30's temps. We were last year coming out of Qld and were impressed with the pride that This town has, it shows. So as we were in the area we thought we would do a visit once again. Good to see a town that's going somewh...

May I ask how many of you listen to audio books while travelling? I did so on my recent trip and loved them. There was a problem in some areas finding them though without buying them full price. They are still expensive? I did find in Queensland that you could become a 6 month travelling member of the lib...

Not happy Jan. We have a 2yr old Jayco poptop with toilet/shower combo. Started thinking about upgrading to full van with ensuite in readiness for our big trip. Hubby rings the dealer and basically we have lost $13000 since we bought it. It is in perfect condition with extra powerpoints etc. Needles...

Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know that I have changed the forum slightly so that the first forum section is ‘Read forum rules and introduce yourself’. Hi ti All. I have little round "push-to-lock", and "push-to-unlock" button type locks on my cupboards and drawers. They are about as useful as a chocolate teapot, and work less often than some people I know. (Nomads excepted of course). Does anyone have a cure that might see t...
