tyres goodrich ATKO

It's time again to replace tyres. I have been told goodrich ATKO are the way to go but they look fairly chunky to me and I am concerned about road noise. Almost all our driving is on good roads. Does anyone have any comment on these or other tyres. They are about $400 each.
