Had 4 days at Gum Bend beating off the mossies night and day - then decided to go to the caravan park for a week - only $150. What a difference it makes after so much camping. Have spent 8 days in Townsville, could have stayed for a month, but lot more to see Down the coast will go down to Rockhampton then go inland to Emerald then Roma and St George. Do the coast next year . Met up with Doug a few times for lunch in Townsville. Love the place.
