Our visit to "Raptor Domain" was both educational and entertaining. It was also an ideal place to photograph some majestic birds. The birds were an Australian Hobby, Barn Owl, Black breasted Buzzard, White bellied sea eagle and a wedge tailed eagle

Gday... Lake Benanee is a 'free' camp - in the carpark of the day use area - that is a good overnight stop ... and would be OK for a couple of days if the weather is good. Interestingly, I have only stayed three nights because of the thunderstorms, rain and wind. Today finished sunny and warm thankfully. Ho...

On our way to Kakadu NP we enjoyed a sunset cruise on Corroboree Billabong. It provided a great photo opportunities.

our just acquired hiace is a shell no more, we have fitted curtains, second battery, new radio, tail gate strut, fire extinguisher,ka bed etc. just waiting for the sticker of her name to fit. Then come the 2nd may, we head off.

Just a take on "Farm Sitting" in the tropic's of North Qld. We have had 180mls or 7 inches of rain in a week. Babinda just North of Innisfail supposedly the wettest place in Australia. JohnR
