we are planning on travelling the great central hwy through to Alice, then onto Birdsville via the Plenty Hwy.. In July 2018... Our tug is LC200 gxl with a 24' Semi off road Van.. Can anyone who has done this trek give some info please.. We are planning early... Thankyou GN's

Has anyone been over the Tanami track from Alice Springs to Halls Creek recently? I am currently thinking of travelling to Broome after Alice Springs in May this year. Hi Everyone. Does anyone know what the road conditions are like getting to Steep Point. I have just read that is is a drive of 40km on soft sand so therefore 4WD only. I have a 4WD but just wondering what the conditions are like and if it is still indeed 40km of soft sand?
