Hi People. Soon we will be travelling from Mackay to Dingo via Fitzroy Development Road. Can anyone tell us if there is fuel between Nebo and Dingo? Thank you

Lots of roadworks coming up the Bruce from Brisbane end, not before time, but one of the worst spots we found the other week was not far south of Calliope - CORRUGATIONS! ON A BITUMEN ROAD! Could not believe it.

Just came back to W.A. via Yulara /Laverton across the GCR. It was in very good condition ( Excellent in fact ) WA border to Laverton. Hello does anyone have up to date knowledge of the gravel road between Almaden and Chilligoe? We would like to take our on road van there soon . We used to go camping there many years ago. Thanks.

hi just wondering if this road is acceptable to tow a 20 ft van on. And is it all dirt or has some been sealed?

Has anyone done the drive from the coast (WA) in to Mt Augustus Everything I can find online suggests it's OK but I don't always believe what the tourist websites say (after all they are trying to get you to visit!) Probably going late Sept/early Oct Cheers Andrew

Well we have booked the Spirit of Tasmania there and back for Mar April 2017. We would appreciate any comments on what roads to avoid when touring. Comments on taking generator, hobie kayak for fishing would also be appreciated Thanks

The Strzelecki, Birdsville and Oodnadatta Tracks and most gravel roads in the flinders are all closed due to rain. http://www.dpti.sa.gov.au/OutbackRoads In a couple of weeks, the desert will bloom and it will be a great time to be out there. Cheers, Peter
