Apparently Lions Park, behind the shops, just over the railway line, is now closed to overnight stopping. The surf club is apparently closed to campers as well. (22/12/2014)

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Cosy Corner about 20klms north of St. Helens. Great spot. Also Myrtle Park about 30 mins east of Launceston. Would take these to camp site with all around Aist. if I could. Jay&Dee

Thanks to the owner of the Gowrie park CVP, O'Neill park now is a $5.00 overnight, permit required, used to be free, all must be self contained.

South Bruny Island - behind Allonah Hotel - grassed area - SELF CONTAINED ONLY - $5 per night/vehicle. Right on the water - good meals, reasonable prices. General store next door.

Judbury - about 13k west of Huonville - Calvert Park, large cricket oval, hall, toilets (new block being erected currently), right on Huon River, fishing spots all the way along beside the park. Not a huge area, bbq's, tables and chairs, playground. Donation box.
