Milo, the days have been lovely and sunny here in Canberra but the wind is a little chilly. Then again at night it is a different story - somewhere between 3 and minus 3.

Its a lot colder up here than I expected too. They are all running around in heavy jumpers, because they are used to warmer temps. Its not worrying me as warmer than Vic. The rain the other day cooled it right down. from shorts to long pants.

Beautiful & sunny here in Bris. Thou we did get a few showers pass thru after lunch .. but fined up straight after to a lovely sunset.
To herald in winter I made a batch of pumpkin soup & we had the first mug of same sitting in the sun in the back yard garden.
Off to Noosa on Friday for a week to celebrate my 3 score years and ten .. with the family to units overlooking the Noosa River .. (No Van on this trip) Have a new (birthday present) kayak to try out on this great waterway at our doorstep! But the best present is the company of all of my children & their children for an uninterrupted week starting with a family lunch at the floating resturant at Noosaville.
