A while back, someone was wanting a two burner butane gas stove. Sorry...don't recall who it was....
Aldi have them for sale next week, starting 22nd Sept. for $29.99. They also have the 4 pack butane gas cartridges for $3.99.
There are various other camping items that could be of interest too.
Cheers.

Hi Pam. I just put that same message up on the Whats Cooking thread. Is it 29.99? I put 39.99. I don't have the brochure yet. My neighbour showed it to me.

G'day I just checked on E-bay and there is one exactly the same ( two burners ) using disposable cylinders for $180 but it has a carry case and some bbq utensils and I think a bbq plate .So for $29.99 from Aldi it is a bargain ..If you want to check it out go to E-Bay and type in ...u-bute portable camping gas bbq ...and you will see what I mean ...Cheers ..BOB...

I saw the one burner butane in Kmart today for $15. I've never seen a two burner butane.
I bought the GPS from Aldi today, so now I have some reading to do, to figure out how to work it.

Bill, they are the little gas cookers (portable) that you use a gas canister in. They are everywhere. I got mine at Rays Outdoors.

GS and Ma...
Any chance that you could let us know the date and page no. of the Bunnings catalogue please?
Looked on Bunnings website and couldn't find them.... I then called both of our local Bunnings stores and was told that they only carry single burner butane stoves.
Thanks in advance.
Pam.

I didn't see them in a catalogue Pam. I saw them at our local Bunnings at Ulladulla a couple of months ago. They weren't on special they were just in the camping/outdoor goods area.

I was amazed at how long my cartridge has lasted. I used it twice or 3 times a day to make coffee, cook or reheat a meal, from Adelaide to Moranbah and back, and it's still about half full. The cartridge multi-packs are so cheap. I keep mine in the car at all times, and the fridge/freezer is in there too. Very handy when I'm on the job.

As far as I've seen, there's only one problem with them...they seem to 'freeze' up in cold weather. So maybe one needs to wrap the cartridge in foil or something til you need to use it.

Mine worked OK 2 years ago in the middle of Winter when I went down to Mildura. Mind you, I was only on the road for about a week all told.

Well, I've never used one, but twice I've been with others who go to use them in -0 degrees, and can't get them to work.

Magic gadgets, I have one in the car when out on a drive for a quick cuppa. Converted some old friends when they moved here, now they have one in their car too. Sure beats the old gas stove, gas bottle and stand of years gone by. Far more convenient to pack up.

Are you guys sure it was a Butane double-burner ? The Rocky store has a double burner, but it is definitely not a Butane Stove.
It should look similar this one.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Same in Rocky. with the Canisters, but only ordinary Double Burner Stoves, and no empty space on the shelves as though they had had them, but sold out.
Cheers,
