Pretty Polly Prissy Pants is the only "full time" resident of Bussingham Palace.
Polly is the resident princess, and other than living her regal existence in luxury, she also keeps a close eye on the occasional residents, mainly Fairy-Nuff and her travelling guests.
Polly is on Facebook! If you are a Facebook user, you can "like" Polly's page and keep up to date with all things Palace related - www.facebook.com/prettypollyprissypants

Love Princess Polly! Quite a few of us have a Ted to share our adventures. Our Pilot Bear from Southcare Rescue Helicopter, and Nurse Bear from RFDS live in our caravan, even when we are at home. Somehow I cant bring them inside.
I have a facebook page, only use it to keep in touch with a few rellies, really dont trust their (facebook's) privacy.

I don't use these either, did try Facebook once for a charity group but found it too time consuming and all these people I didn't know (automated) wanting to be friends, obviously friends of friends and the system just send them to you.
You'd have to be careful with PPPP if you missed the "r" out in "Prissy"

Very true Beth - PPPP was actually adopted on Felicia's first ever Grey Nomads outing, so it all seems rather fitting

Facebook is a great way of keeping in touch with family and friends. In fact it was the only way I was able to wish my grandson Happy Birthday on his 3rd birthday today. Wouldn't be without it. It won't bite you know!!

There is more security available on Facebook than there is on this forum. At least on Facebook you can choose who reads your information and who's information you want to read.

It's just a matter of being careful of what information you put on ANY forum, if you do not want to share your info then stop typing, it's that simple

I don't do Twitter, but I believe you can only post something, can't answer someone else's post.

I use facebook- keeps me in touch with family and friends.
Facebook is a social networking service and Web site. Users must register before using the site, after which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists such as "People From Work" or "Really Good Friends".
I don't use twitter, but Twitter is a microblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, informally known as "tweets".
You oldies need to get with it, and stop showing your age(s).

In all fairness, it has nothing to do with being 'too old' for the technology. On the contrary, the people who won't/don't use facebook are the super techno people who are way too smart to go on facebook. They know what info can be gleaned from the silly people who put way too much personal stuff on there.

Good one HW, and so true! Facebook won't "bite" you, if you use the same common sense that you would use everywhere else in your day-to-day life.
I find Facebook to be a great way to keep in touch with people that I wouldn't necessarily have the time to phone regularly. And it also reminds me of people's birthdays that I would otherwise forget! Haha.
I've also made contact with some long lost friends and even relatives via this service, so it has done well for me.
