Yep I arrived at Greens Lake, Central Vic around 10.00am and set up within the hour. Rain all the way up for the six hour trip and nice during the afternoon though. Not a lot here at this point in time but I'm sure that's the weather keeping people away.
As usual I will call a committee meeting to discuss departure day. No hurry.

I've never sat on a porta potti in the rain before. But with all this wet weather we've been having, it occurred to me that my pop up tent doesn't have a roof. Has anyone seen a pop up tent with an umbrella sticking out the top?

As we are staying a Bendigo ( house sitting) so while we are here have decided to go to Green Lake as it seems so close. Will bring the tent as have the caravan in storage. Sharon how about coming too.How long are you there for dougee. Has the commiittee made the decision. I love one lady/man committes, no arguments.

Golly Molly (Sue) - head on out to the lake - it is a great spot - take your fishing gear - the perch and carp like corn kernels - just load it up, and leave line in overnight - the fish seem to just jump on.
And Garykelly - the picture of you in your loo tent with not roof in the rain will stay in my mind for a while!!!!!!

Just cannot keep away from the place can you. Must be something or one that is the attraction considering the weather, have fun Doug. We are in Hobart at the moment but will be heading back to Launceston tomorrow. Has not stopped raining, beit light since we go here four days ago to catch up with family and friends. We will be back in Melb on the 3rd of March. Take care out there and enjoy.

As for the me and myself I tried to leave them behind as suggested by a few last time but I found them stowed away in the back of the Prado when I opened up the door, bugger, I am the chair at these committee meetings so will be more assertive I think.

That's no good at all Ken, I hate it when things like that happen. I had a similar thing many moons back. Got back to my car in a car park and passenger side had damage, I now park down back of car parks and park on top of whit line, take up two spots, now remember, I park right down the back out of the way so no problems caused.

I am getting my hot shower most nights still her at Kilmore so I am happy with mine.
You could come here for a while Doug and i could then convince you to go to Maffra and get involved in a bit of work and a lot of fun.

Yes I'm in the same same spot and will leave Thursday or Friday, earlier if need be but need to get home as the Prado is going to the car doctor to get a couple of things done before I migrate North till later this year.
That fun sounds good but work is a dirty word. It's a lot of fun here too and besides Gene keeps me going :)

Got some French backpackers up the beach a little, they thought I was too experienced though so I said I have only been travelling a short time :)
