Rocket- we were over there Kat year, as you know, and I think from memory we stayed in four or five caravan parks, the rest was free, or very low cost i.e., $10 per day at Cleaverville.
Getting over is free camping all the way over the Nullarbor, some right on beautiful beaches.
This is York, near the central Wheat Belt -four FREE power points, water, dump point toilets - and 50m walk to the shops, what more could you ask. There are a lot of spots like this, some as good some better.
on the road sun. heading to gin gin. ON THE ROAD AGAIN, IT'S GREAT TO BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN. do you remember that song?
strop went to Grandads night at Kindy. Got a card. I will post it when I take a photo of it.

Arrived Mansfield VIC after an epic journey from Tolmie, 24k north. Left Caravan at park near lake Eildon, went for a drive around Gough Bay, geocaching as we went. Found one!
Bought new pair of jeans and some thermals, going to snow tomorrow - again. Had Pizza for dinner.

How far south are you coming Rocket? Some great spots along the Murray - Tocumwal, Greens Lake Corop, Aysens Reserve Rochester, Nyah Recreation Grounds, Nyah and so on - plenty around Mildura as well, nice weather coming up around these areas, summer is fantastic down south.

Jules, no snow angles, that would have meant getting wet. Better to stay warm. Yes Rocket, Bulla was great, but enjoyed Dinner Plains better few weeks back. Glads to be back at around 300 metres now.

Yes she did sell up, she was on Sunrise a few months ago doing a piece on sustainability, don't know if she actually became a grey nomad though, there was no mention of it at that time.

Didn't you have a leak when we first went to Lawnton? When we had heaps of rain? Or was that someone else?
Dunmowin - thanks for clarifying about Denise Drysdale!

Denise is a very funny lady. My sister and brother in law went with her on the China guided tour many years ago. They said she is a laugh a minute and they are still friends to this day.

How exciting Kaid - I have twin grandsons (just turned 16), but I remember the day they were born, and the first time I saw them - they were and are gorgeous, along with their big brothers of course!!
We are sitting in a friends front yard just south of Fremantle, possibly leave tomorrow, for pastures further south.

Thanks Jules. They are a bit cute. Just a tiny 6lb each,
but just sooooo perfect.
Grounded at home for a while. Looking after 3yr old and 1yr old Grandsons for 8 days.
While their parents go to Fiji for a Wedding.
methinks I will be knackered after that.
