Back about 1981, I think it was, I did a load of onions to Sydney markets, I started at Murry Bridge and worked my way up the Murry making lot of crossing by ferry, I started about 6am and was finished loading 22 tonnes of onions after tea time at Yamba, what a day, a few bags here and there in and out of farms, all the bags hand loaded.
I smelt like a hamburger for a couple of days afterwards. As Dougwe would tell you, "I can tell you that for free" if you had not already noticed.
Enjoy your day.

Where you going Rocket? We are at Bowenville, on the highway to Dalby (Warrego??) Huge camp area, with flushing toilets, and about 30k from Dalby for good shopping. Probably leave sometime over the weekend - just want the sun to shine a bit.

Spent the last two days catching up with my niece and her family up from Victoria. Lovely to be able to spend time with them.
Her mum, my sister, flies up mid July for 2 weeks as she is going to do a chemo run with me. Has booked us into a fancy hotel for the night before chemo, in the Brisbane CBD for a bit of lavish living. Looking forward to her visit.

Drove to Maryborough QLD, staying at Torbanlea Racehorse camp. $5 night, + $5 for shower. Big area for the bigger rigs, dogs ok, water available. Nearest dump point, Maryborough Showgrounds.

Hi been out all day sight seeing in Hamburg, seen something that pricked my memory, Grafton has the Greyhound/Turf Club camping wich we have heard is good value.
Been to a awesome Maritine Musuem, huge aray of model boats, ships of all ages and sizes. Then to Auto Museum with some pretty fancy Porches as early as 1938?, unique race cars the late forties though fifties and sixties. Stuff I saw today boys only dream about, so had to describe. Yeh it was a good day out.
If say you go though Carsino, Tabulim towards Tenterfield there is a couple of good camps out that way near or along side the Clarence River or the old logging camp on the left going up a range out of Tabulim, check Wiki Camps I sure there would be some good infor there.
Friday we board a cruise ship for a cruise up the Norwegian Coast for about 12 nights, lots to do and see.
Happy travels back to no or not much internet until back here in Hamburg, onbroard the ship the cost is over the top . Ralph.

Spent a lovely couple of hours chatting to Kandagal, aka Alice and Keith. Was great to see you both again, last time being Greens Lake a few years back. We talked, and talked, and talked. Poor Keith.

Finally left Port Augusta today, heading north along the Stuart Highway, which is rather boring, given that we would rather have done the Oodnadatta Track again. But given road closures, at least there is an option (unlike many who are stuck at William Creek)
Our current outlook from the Island View Lookout, 155 k north of Port Augusta.....
What is everyone up to today. I bought new joggers

Well I was happily working to get my house ready for the market and with a bit of luck be out on the road later in the year. Unfortunately I brushed my hand against a thorn and the ultra sound shows a 4mm piece wedged under the tendon on my left index finger. Tomorrow we find out how the doctor is going to remove it. I am still sanding with one hand but I have stop to to pick my wine glass occasionally.

Ouch! Bet that hurt - got a piece of ferntree stem embedded in my ankle one time, it splintered on entry - and the pain when the doc was removing the bits was horrific - the wine glass is a good idea - red or white - have just finished a really nice Brown Bros. Crouchen Reisling with my young friend - delicious!!!
