Was having a great time with kids n grandkids at a fantastic caravan park and water park. Fantastic for kids. Then one grandchild in a tent started vomiting, then her mum, and now it is pouring rain And i have just washed all their bedding. Both r in bed in our caravan and another grandson is asleep in the afternoon In aunties tent. Other kids n grandkids r having lots of fun in the water park in the rain. They r all in tents. Keeping our hands washed and hopefully we will not get it. First time we have ever paid top dollar in school holidays. Oh the joys.

OMG!!!!!!! Rocket - what should have been a great family holiday became a total disaster!!!!! As long as you and Strop don't get it - oh, the joys of being a traveller! Leave it all behind - get out and see the country, live life to the full.

Hi jules, i came down with it monday night, then went into hospital. Got out today and a few minutes ago strop started vomiting. We purposely did not stop at kershaw gardens. Did not want to give it to u. We were at a free camp when i started vomiting and we learnt a few things.
1. We need more solar and another battery.
2. We need to carry more water.
3. We used all our spare linen on daughter and her kids when they were sick so we only had the sheets on our bed.
with strop now vomiting and i am nausous and exhausted,
It is going to be a long night.

Hi All
Spent most of the day cleaning my new second hand toy 2012 Concept Vision 19'6" en suited caravan. Hoping to take it for a test run soon, very busy with home renos which are coming to the final stages. They have taken 6 years of planning including 6 overseas fact finding mission, now done hooray, hooray peace at last. Now to go caravaning.

Enjoy the experience, take your time.
Good tip to do as your going away from home carefully touch your brakes to get the feel of the brakes reaction and taking the very light surface rust of the caravan brake drums that has built up while parked. You will learn as you go where to have the adjuster set. It possibly be near full on and back a bit. Trial and error.
Once again enjoy.

Rocket - you guy must have kicked a chinaman or something - just when you think things are going good - bang - something else comes along - I hope this is the end of it, and you can get back on the road properly again. We are at Boonah - got a campdraft this weekend, so a bit of entertainment. No fruit loops around at the moment - haha! Take care both of you!

Today I have started preparing the caravan on the outside after a marathon day yesterday finishing the internal of the caravan, all looks good, secured the washing machine, test run it, all good. The stove, frig, air conditioning, radio, tv and tried the bed for a granny nap for 20 minutes. All very good.
With a build up of caravan gear I spreaded it around the double garage and started picking the eyes out of it, amazing how gear builds up.
Then this afternoon off to the movies with the grandkids to see Secrete lives of Pets. Good for laugh. And then McDonald's for dinner.

The sun is shining, can't see a cloud in the sky - hope all our friends throughout Australia are getting the same as us - and that the rain and wind has stopped.
My son was saying the wind was so strong in Homebush (VIC), he thought the roof was going to come off, but they made them strong 100 years ago - so all safe.
