You sound like my father Jonathan, he always said after he'd been to the barber that they charged him a search fee...

Played squash tonight - first game went to 4 - I won 3-1 - second game (played up a line), lost 2-3 - never taken a game off this girl before though, so not too bad for an old chook (the first game lad was 14, second game girl was 18) - feeling bit weary now though.
Just had two pieces of toast with home made passionfruit/lemon butter - yum, and a glass of soda water.
Must be hair time - getting mine done tomorrow - cut and colour - been red for quite a while, time for a change - and Pam I thought your hair looked really nice

Left over chow mein that I froze and brought with me for tea and vanilla bean yoghurt to follow. E-census is still trying to submit after over an hour. Hair - well, sick of GT stripes as colour grows out, but refuse to go grey yet - I have a bit of the piebald going on - but hairdresser has it under control with foils. No long stopped the hot pink foils and am sticking to blondish ones as they don't fade as fast. Hair short.
As I am having a free day in the c/park tomorrow I will be doing some genealogy and some patchwork - after sleeping in.

I'm not worried about it Marj, but not thrilled about it either, My sister died of Bowel Cancer about 16 years ago, since then it's been a regular occurence, that's why the hospital contacted me....

No good Gub - but best to keep an eye on this like this - prevention is better than the cure, as they say.
Hard to find a hairdresser who knows what "short/long" is - the one I have here understands my hair, and I let her have a pretty free hand.

It is interesting to see what everyone gets up to outside of nomading. Gives us a different insight into others personalities. All of the menus for tea tonight have given me some new ideas. Tend to get stuck in ones own ways when living alone.

My hairdresser is Just Cuts - "Leave an inch, or 2 centimetres". I do my own colour - Light and Easy in a golden auburn brownish something. Not fussy, it's only hair. I've been blessed, or cursed, with thick, strong, curly hair and the only way I can manage it without having a live-in hairdresser is short. Lunch today was curry lamb and veg and rice from the Waeco freezer. Fresh fruit later. I had a hydrotherapy session this arvo, and mac cheese and tuna for tea. I'm about to sip into a Vanilla Chai Latte. Yummy night cap. It's too damn cold to do anything adventurous outside. Tomorrow the aircon man is checking my unit to find out why it makes a funny noise and takes ages to get cold. That's winter I guess.

I had a VERY short haircut, hoping that the last of the bottle blonde would be gone, and I'd be a proper "Grey" Nomad. After all, nobody knows me here in WA, and I thought it would all grow and be OK by the time I got home. Wrong! Theres still blonde tips, and its growing really slowly, hope I look a bit better soon. All is well for now, its so hot in the sun we wear hats all the time.
Curry Chicken for dinner tonight, with a bottle of Banrock Station Moscato... eaten outside under the awning in a balmy breeze in Exmouth.

I reckon curried Jonathan. Seems a lot of people on here eat curry. Haven't had curry in years, may have to look into that. Without the koala of course.

we had dinner, don't know what it was and did not ask as I did not want to upset the cook, but it did taste great.
colonoscopy, you need to keep your eye on that, needs checking every year at your age.
jonathan, did you get that other hair done? looks so untidy when only one gets done.
I colour my own hair, really like it green.

For those down south (now I am in Goondiwindi I can say that) - the sky is blue and there is not a cloud in the sky - I had to move into the shade 'cos it was getting hot in the sun and this white body used to the cold and rain has yet to aclimatise. The washing is blowing in the breeze and will actually dry on the same day it is washed without a dryer
