Yipeeee!!. Myrtles home. And yes Jonathan has met her, he even gave her a hug. I've so far polished her rear end, will do some more tomorrow, and have refuelled her. I had an 8cents a litre discount on my card and had to use it this week before it expired so that worked out well. Will also lay the carpet runner down the middle, need to trim to fit with Stanley, so another job for tomorrow.
Yes Beth I know what you mean, imagine how much that mouse story cracked me up in person. I was practically rolling around Bunnings carpark when he described it. IF any of you get the chance to meet Jonathan you won't be disappointed, take the opportunity if you can, a great guy and a laugh a minute. Certainly cheers up a dull day. Now back to more plans for Myrtle. Need to go measure the rest of space for a bit of lino. Will certainly lighten the whole area up.

She'd better be Chichi, $4,000 later. Sam said any doubts at all come straight back and he will check it out and take her back between 500 and 1000 ks for a complete checkover. He's had her out on the road at least 4 times and done about 30 ks each time. Even thought of heading off to Cairns with her, but I didn't leave any food in the fridge.
He also said the 20-50 oil I had there that I had been using for that last trip, take it home and use in the lawnmower, DO NOT put it in this van. Anyway I won't have to put any oil in her he said, It will be a long time before I ever need to top up again.

No thank you! I'm sure I'll find my own 'pets' when I next go west.
And I totally agree with Marj. Jonathon is a laugh a minute. Had my friend and I in stitches. In fact, Jonathon, I cut and paste your mouse story to Lesley, so she'd get a giggle too.
And lastly, welcome home Myrtle!

Phoned my sister tonight, B.in.l answered the phone. Asked how Myrtle was going, I said I had been over to Moama to fill her with petrol, she goes like a dream. He said, What, you didn't get them to fill her for you, you could have added it to the invoice. You think too slow Marj. Now he tells me.

I don't think you think too slow Marj, just didn't want to take advantage of their kindness in footing the bill for the repair. If you had known earlier that it was ok by them it would have been a different story I'm sure.
