Was camped in a park in SA and in the afternoon of the first day some tourist walked up to an outside shower very near my bus and proceded to strip off and have a shower. Could not believe my eyes.
Had a partner then and she was determined that we would move the next day but I decided that there was some nice scenery in the area and I wanted to take it all in. Was very early in my travels and I love to look around where I stop.
Any way we stayed there for three days HEHE and I enjoyed the stay. Some of the tourist even gave a smile and said hello when they walked past. Even came for a chat one night. It was just normal for then and yes I did respect their privacy after the first time but did make the mind wander though. LOL

ulladulla Headland park has a lyrebird which thinks the kitchen/tv room or toilets is its cave. Bournda i had an injured wallaby (barb wire fences!!) and a possum come and sit next to me under my tarp next to fire, during the rain. I went to sleep with the wallaby still there.

I was in my element with this one - the Range Caravan Park out from Townsville - they had a small patchwork shop on site, and they held a craft/patchwork group each week,.
Must go there

My dad was telling me about a time they were in a caravan park when a naked female strolled from the shower block back to her caravan to get something she forgot and then went back and finished her shower.

At the Top Park in Carnarvon a tiny dove was blown out of its next. Windy in Carnarvon? Never! It's always windy in Carnarvon. It's just the strength that varies. This little chick was huddled on the sheltered side of a gum tree on the ground. I kept watch to make sure other birds didn't hassle it or worse, but I didn't make any attempt to grab it or rescue it. As the afternoon went on it moved to a sheltered spot behind a high fence. The parents came and fed it, so I knew the little chick would be alright. Next morning the chick and mum and dad dove were under my van, then on the slab outside the door, and that's where they stayed until a second fledgling chick appeared under the van until they were old enough to fly away and leave the "nest". Mum and dad dove continued to hang around until I left. In Broome the Northern Brush Tailed Possums hung around and occasionally I'd slip them a bit of apple or carrot. They'd eat from my hand, as did the brush tail possums at the Tanunda Caravan Park in the Barossa Valley. In Cairns I learned a lot about thick-kneed Curlews from the resident pair and the families they raised over my time there. Isn't nature wonderful?

I had a couple of "pet" ta ta lizards in Broome too. I fed a male some tiny apple chips whenever he appeared. Then one day I was just talking to a neighbour, a very rare event, (not) and I felt a tap on my toe nail. It was my friendly ta ta looking for apple chips. In one of the gardens in the park I was doing some landscaping and maintenance when a tiny newly hatched ta ta appeared and grabbed the tiny insects which jumped out of the ground as I weeded. This lizard did this for about 2 years, often sitting on my foot or on my balance hand while I was weeding, ready to grab insects as they jumped.
