Dave, they have their unique characteristics because they are not a good wet weather tyre..................bloody easy answer.
I was out in the NGY lands (working) in 09 and the CDA in our community had Coopers on his Nissan. Reckoned they were the biggest heap of garbage he'd ever used, and he had been out there for years. He is in his early seventies so he's been around.

To date I have run two sets of coopers A/T tyres first set on a Mitsubishi Challenger with about 25% towing and reached 117000 klm with still just legal and second set I have now done 98000 Klm and still probably 20000 to go no current NP Pajero with about 40% towing very happy Jan.

Just how far off topic did this go???????????????? never was a discussion on tyres , just a simple joke for Wombat & the amount of pics he put in the competition for the tyre prize.

Well it was most valuable for my query. No Coopers for me. I hardly ever hang around the 'burbs, and I get around on any surfaces in any conditions. Problem solved. As for the photo comp, I get bamboozled by volume. There are just too many. I'll wait until there's a really good prize LOL. Good luck everyone.

To have any sort of prize for the comp you must have a sponsor, don't think there will to many coming forward after the way this thread has gone.............
