The best part is we all started out on here as strangers, and even if we haven't met yet, I feel they are all friends. Well, I'm not sure about feral Wombats, but I'm sure a green leaf will pacify him. Many free camp, while many others use parks. There's no rule about it. Personal choice. If you chat to fellow travellers and other campers you're bound to make new friends. I've met others at roadhouses, in caravan parks, and in shopping centre car parks. You just never know when and where another nomad will pop up.
Look for my trade mark when you're in Adelaide, or anywhere if I'm on the job.
Marge you seem to be the most socially active of us all - 32 and still counting..... you should get a prize of some sort.

Marj is just a social butterfly. She made a lot of friends as she was going through the Myrtle traumas. We all felt the need to support her and encourage her to hang in there. Whether it's a vehicle problem or health or a question, there are always "friends" on here to support us and offer words of assistance and advice. Even The Wombat issues good advice sometimes. We just have to ask him nicely.

Having followed the great saga of Marj's difficulties and triumphs I admire her hugely. I am really looking forward to meeting her one day.

Yep - friendly site alright - looking forward to meeting Marj (HW) when she gets up this way - and anyone else who is passing through my area in SE Qld - seems like a few are going to be around in Feb - might have to have a meet up somewhere - keep checking on the "Get Togethers" section for details. Have fun out there.

Do you know what I like?
When ever some one new pops in, some one (or 10) say "welcome" and start chatting, and in a week or so "newbie" disappears from their profile because they have settled in.
Before long they find "senior" under their name, and before too long they find "guru"
All from friendly folk bothering to say welcome and start chatting.

Aw gee guys, shucks. Thanks for being my friend. Can't wait to meet you all up there too.
I'm now on the organising leg ready for trip up to Qld in April. Having finally got to Geelong to see rellies I had been promising to visit for more than 6 months. Now I'm back home a bit to do for Myrtle so I will be organised and ready to go.

Doreen and I dropped into the visitors centre this morning, but the lady who was there didn't know you.
