And get this one was Greek and a convict he was transported as a convict of England from Malta

To be honest, I don't really know the people in the photo, only that they are rellos from my Grans side of the family. The photo was amongst her photos that were handed down to me, and was probably taken in the 50's. The caravan looks like an old bondwood job and what amused me was the chimney sticking out the top.

Yes, would have to agree Troopy, the clothing and hairstyle of the lady looks to be about 1950's. Also in the early era some caravans did have chimneys (fireplaces) in them.

Troopy .. I'm also curious as to the location of the photo .. was it back in GB or here in Oz .. If in Oz, could it have come from the Riverland in Sth Oz .. ?

Not wanting to hijack the Thread, but a quick update on the pic. It was taken in England in 1961 and somewhere close to London. I have verified this from another 2 photos taken on what looks like the same holiday, and at least one of them probably on the same day. I still don't know the people apart from their first names written on the back of one of the photos, or any other info surrounding my avatar pic unfortunately. Cheers
