Bear, I love Bundaberg, have spent a lot of time there when son lived there before moving to Biggenden. Will be spending a lot of time there in the future too. Got a txt from son about 10 minutes ago. She's moving out mid March so he will be on his own till I get there. I couldn't get through in the floods anyway. He will be ok for a while, probably relieved.

Hi HW, sorry to hear about the circumstances in which you have had to make the decision to move BUT ------
WELCOME to QLD
We will be on our 8 month trip when you finally arrive but we will have to 'book' in for a visit.
My sister lives at Bullyard up near Bundy.

Thankyou Barb and Darryl. We will certainly catch up some time. Will have to look up Bullyard on the map.
I've got used to the idea now and looking forward to it. The subject has come up at least 4 times over the last year and now they have made the decision I am sure they will get on much better living apart, I will be there to also see that son gets the kids visiting as often as possible.

Like this Jonathon? Tyrtle (could not find a good rear bumper, not much of it showing anyway) but I did include a chimney

Myrtles already got a bullbar wombat. Thanks Jonathan, wonder what my son will think of that, sure could help protect the trees and fences out in the back paddock.

Thanks guys, Am just back from a few days rest out at Greens Lake. I can see I will be coming south for my Greens fixes every summer. Its a real pickmeup. So good to have so much support from wonderful grey nomads. Have made some lifelong friends over the last year. I have to get busy and pack some more bags for a grey nomader before the weekend as they have kindly offered to take up what ever will fit into their free space. Hows that for grey nomad friends, can't get any better than that.

.. Only one thing concerns me Marj .. that's when you mentioned getting on the ride-on mower ..
I'll have to talk to WOMBAT to see if he can fit a bullbar for you .. hehe .. oh .. front and back !
Now there's a good image for you to work on Wombat .. call it "Tyrtle" ..
hmm .. not bad .. but had considered a ride-on mower sort of thing ..
I thought you wanted THE Myrtle with a bullbar

these ones do?
Thanks Jonathan, wonder what my son will think of that, sure could help protect the trees and fences out in the back paddock.

That's great Marj.
