correct jc, jules the signal finder is not the same as the sat finder, signal finder finds the signal through your tv ariel, sat finder looks for signals from a satellite through an LNB connected to your sat dish.

When we got our van a TCL TV was 'included'. The first one broke down after about a year, the replacement didn't work at all, the next replacement worked for about 2 months, then it was repaired and worked for another couple of weeks, at which point we threw it out and bought a Panasonic which hasn't skipped a beat in 2 1/2 years. The TCL had a 3 year warranty so all replacements/repairs were done under warranty, but as we were on the road it was a massive issue getting this done and at times were without a tv at all for weeks until we got to a place that had a TCL agent. TCL themselves were dreadful to deal with, never ever returned calls or emails. So my advice would be any brand but TCL.
I would think its different.
