G'day Peter, so did my old late and great Nan mate, she knew what I meant but I still got all my corrected letters back......hell I miss all the games of crib she used to sit down with me and play when I was a youngster...cant really have been much fun for her, but I loved it...Grandparents had so much more 'spare' time in those days...I would sit there playing crib with her while listening to Jimmy on The Argenauts on her mantle radio....great memories....if I listened to her I may have learnt to spell as well...Lol..Hoo Roo

Hi all, first post and complete newbie so please forgive me if my etiquette isn't on par. I have spent the last couple of days reading the posts on this forum including the one from GOLDDETECTORNOMAD re quality v quantities of posts and was inclined to agree less is best and all that but whilst mowing the lawns (can't wait to start my journey and say goodbye to the mower) I got to thinking about some of the few I have read and the emotions they evoked in me. There was wonderment, envy, sadness, delight, enlightenment the funnies galore and so on but above all there is a sense of family and community and for many I imagine this is home, so at the end of the day it's all in the eye of the reader isn't it.
