I find once calibrated (only ever did it once) I run the dial at about 3 or 4 (this matches the brake peddle feel in the tug to the brake application in the van) I have a vehicle with a break booster the same size as a Toyota Camry and the 70 weighs about 3 times as much so you may run even lighter. Depending how hard you hold the peddle down it goes from purple to red.
Hope your happy with it!

Thanks for all the info guys I found a circuit bracker down low out of site that had a loose nut that needed tightening yep the old teckonsha back in action, I feel like a goose for not picking this up earlier, but all the circuit breakers around the battery checked out ok,the one out of site was the gremlin , anyway all this information has been good to know as I will have to fit thew to pro now that I have purchased it,so it looks like the brakes will hi tek and the wallet will be a little thinner...
