We are about to do the "Big Lap" in Jan 18, for 12 months; and am about to purchase a generator for the trip.
My "on boards" require (if we use multiple devices at once) a 4kva generator.
I would value your suggestions.
Regards.
Hetho.
Just worry about the weight of the Gene and not the noise mate then run it at 2.00am cos everyone is asleep and won't hear it anyway

My 20i Honda runs my aircon and everything I need, if needed, one at a time though.
Usualy only the aircon as I have set up most things for 12v.

My Honda 3.5 kva will run all appliances simultaneously, e. g. Toaster, microwave, air etc. Avery quiet generato and many times nearby campers have commented that they did not know it was in use. Also has wheels so easy to move about. Very happy with it and never leave home without it. Highly recommend. Cheers.

Yep, agree with Dougwe, our genny is the same and well worth the extra $$$. Remember there are no RCDs with the gen, you will need a VRD (I think) to be 100% safe.
