You would be in good company at Greens, we would like to be enjoying that water and the friendship there.
Watching the TV yesterday morning, the interviewer was at Sydney Central Raiway Station talking with a Volunteer from Parkes, they hoping for 25000 people, I guess they will be 4 short.
Hope friend has a speedie recovery and you all have a great catch up in Tamworth.
Some free camps with water views or swimming holes on your way to Tamworth, a bit of the highway but very do able along sealed quiet roads.
Hay, Lake Cargelligo, Condobblin, Ponto Falls near Wellington, Mendoorin,
Enjoy your day.

Yep - the lake is a great place - spent a lot of time there in the past - weekends are great - so much entertainment - sinking boats, overturning jetskis, some unusual watercraft, and most people there are nice.

You are in Victoria, now - they usually have lovely cool nights, even in summer - though there can be some hot ones.
How was your day in the City? The Victoria Market is open on Sunday - as well as The Esplanade, St Kilda - and Southbank has a great craft/art, food market, just over the river from Flinders St Station.

Currently camped at Copeton Dam (Eastern Shore) - fantastic spot - we are right near the water front - had storms through the earlier part of the week, but all good now, sunshine with some puffy clouds, and light breeze. Inverell is the closest town, and a great little town it is - got everything you need - supermarkets, Big W, Rivers, Best 'n' Less etc., had a great day in there yesterday - if you come to Inverell, go to the Gem Shop - Katherine is the manager, and is very knowledgeable about her gems and stones.
In the local area are Copeton diamonds, amethyst and sapphires - yet to find any though!

Hi Rocket, keep on enjoying and take your time.
Hi Jules, we are at present on the Central Coast doing family thing, Morisset next week and then thinking of returning to the New England area to enjoy the autumn colours possibly basing ourselfs in Armidale for a week before looking for a cheaper option like Copten Dam. When we travel down from Brisbane last week on a mission we started to see the changing colours of trees and that changed our minds about Bathurst and Orange area.
We need to be at Lightning Ridge for the first weekend in May before returning to Brisbane for our next lot of must dos. A busy life.
So maybe there is a chance you will be able to show us where to park or not.
I will keep reading.

Would be great if you do come in Radar - we are camped in a row at the waterfront - another friend is parked up on a hill. Had other friends arrive this afternoon - (Old Boar) a past member - great to see them - been a while. Bit soft just at the moment, because of the recent rains - but should dry up if the rain holds off.
The area we are in is Lake Copeton, it is at Howell, Howell Road - good bitumen to the start of the camping area - then a gravel road, which is quite churned up at the moment. I will pm you my phone number - cheers - jules

Tuesday moved out of Glen Innes after a pretty good Easter there in the showground. Headed west to Copeton Dam for a night. We were parked about 80 metres from the waters edge, used the remains of previous campers fire to cook dinner on, great night enjoying it almost to ourselves with a million stars. Sailed my rc sailing boat for awhile before dinner and then again after breakfast.
Now moved into Inverell Showground for few nights so we can look around the area.

Hi Marka, you need to be careful 3 months away from the wheel at your age you may forget what you need to be doing.
Up early to the Dawn Service at Bingara NSW. Invited into there club for breakfast with scotch and milk, then drove over to Narrabri for there march and ceremony.
Very moving morning.
Lunch at the summit of Mtn Kaputa at 1500 metres. Cold and windy.
Now resting in the showgrounds tonight before heading west to Lightning Ridge.
wow, that is steep. We had a look at one in Mareeba a few years ago. House prices were reasonable, no exit fees, About $ 130 a week and normal real estate commision if you sold through them. You did have the option of using your own agent if you preferred.
