Hey, that's a heat wave!
Currently it's FIVE degrees here in Hobart Snowing on the mountain and more to come over weekend.
FIVE weeks to go and we're out of here for THREE months.
Not counting of course!

Same as us mate, off to the sun, leave this cold and misery behind us for four short weeks only though I am afraid.

I love the cold. Year ago, when I was a younger man I was trying to show how brave I was to a young lass who really knew me better than that. Anway, I dived into cold feezing water @ the end of a bushwalk & I can now slowly recount to you as my body entered that water inch by inch head first. It seem to take half a life time for me to resurface & quickly make my way to the shoreline I must have been in the water all up, 30 seconds & I thought my heart was going to stop.
Anyway, cold doesnt worry me, but I certainly won't go down that route again. I always test with my toes now.

Imagine if they had to print that on my tombstone, "Silly old bugga drowned because he jumped into really cold water & heart gave way" My goodness I have done some stupid things.
