It's got me buggered. Maybe it's an interpretation of "UHF Mumble".
This is shaping up to be one of those threads which drift off. It started out asking how we came to be nomads and how we named our tags. Then someone mentioned Magpies, which I took to mean the footy team, which someone else transposed to the birds. Then it went to possums, new avatars and the mutual admiration, someone resembling someone else's sister or mother. Then it went to stickers and Zoomtopz interesting, indeciperable "code". It sounds even worse now I've packaged it all. We are an interesting lot.

I think the pussers bit refers to Navy Service, and the rest (dates) Vietnam Service, looks like Zoomtop was in the Navy there and Neil was in the RAAF there.

Why don't they just say so! I thought I was having one of my "blank moments", but it seems I read what everyone else read. I feel better now.

I am just guessing GN, the word pussers is a Navy Term, the dates were those of the Vietnam War, and Neil has Vietnam Vet ribbons on the rear of his van and an RAAF logo.........Perhaps Zoomtop can explain further.

Thanks Beth, it is Perth in the background taken last year or two ago, the result of bush fire smoke or a storm, can't recall now.

we do geocaching and I have a TB sticker on the van and 4x4, in geocaching world our van and 4x4 are considered to be travel bugs, and I have had several other cachers log onto the site saying they have seen the travel bug on the rear of both.
Thanks Wombat, We have just started Geocaching this year. Ordered my first trackables last night. Didn't understand what the car decals and stickers were for. Do they have a number or what?

Hi Pricey43,
thasts correct there is a number and geo logo on the rear window of van & 4x4 if you see one of them you just go to the geo site and put the number in and log it like you would a normal find, but you cannot take the van or 4x4 it's just a look see cache and you report that you have seen it without giving the numner away on geosite.
have not done much cacheing lately, will have to do more soon

Thanks Wombat, Gee I was looking forward to finding your van and getting to pick something from in it.
Will have to look into getting some for ours. Heading up to Port Stephens for a few days next week, so hoping to get a few finds. I also have 2 trackables I've got to place soon.
